Teacher's Notes: The Adventures of Skippy Fishback, Chapter 1

This is a tall tale of a little boy who makes his home in the ocean. Since this is a longer story with lots of new vocab and expressions, it is broken up into four chapters. Even so, each chapter introduces a vast amount of new words. Each chapter has its own set of worksheets to be done immediately after reading each chapter. There are also two reviews, one to be completed after the first two chapters, and one after the last two chapters. After reading the entire story, there is a “test” of sorts covering vocab from the whole story.

Chapter I has more new words than the other chapters.
